Location/Division Specific Information
The Fisher Scientific Channel is building a bridge between business and science as the single source for a comprehensive range of laboratory equipment, chemicals, instruments, life sciences reagents, and consumable supplies.
This position will be fully remote and can be located in any of the 18 countries where we operate in Europe but will require fluency in English and German. You will work in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

The Digital Sales Intern supports the growth of the high number of low-revenue customers in Europe. This person will join a team of Digital Account Managers and interns driving growth within this broad customer base across Europe.
What will be your day job?
- Proactively contact high-potential customers via phone, video calls, and LinkedIn to drive revenue growth.
- Understand customer needs, assess potential sales growth and identify the level of account manager support required.
- Tailor your outreach based on customer challenges and objectives
- Guide customers on how to place orders and use our website effectively
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of customer contacts
- Test and apply new sales approaches and contribute ideas to improve team performance
- Maintain and develop your sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities and progress toward targets
- Identify high-potential customers requiring more advanced support and smoothly transition them to Inside or Field Sales teams. Proactively engage with the receiving Account Managers to build momentum with the customer.
- Onboard new customers, helping them get started and ensuring a smooth first experience with our eCommerce platform
- Manage daily customer interactions, including responding to quotation requests and handling inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Share customer feedback on website usability and customer experience with the relevant teams to support continuous improvement
Education
- Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree. Science or Business focus preferred.

- Able to demonstrate persistence and overcoming barriers to find success
- Self-directed and goal-oriented
- Excellent communication skills and able to build rapport
- Comfortable approaching new contacts and able to handle rejection
- Digital mindset – able to use technology to maximize impact. Knowledge of how to use social media to grow Sales reach is beneficial.
- Self-awareness and adaptability
- Fluent in English and German (minimum C2 level)
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must
- Travel across Europe (once or twice a year)
For legal reasons, we advise you that the minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 35'490 gross regarding the collective bargaining agreement trade, craft and services.
